BUILD
I had a professional add the first 4.
1. WATER: 33 Gallon tank
2. BACKUP CAMERA w/ Night Vision.
3. BED: 5" thick 54x69" mattress (gel foam). Comfortable even for side-sleepers like me.
4. ELECTRICAL Installed additional A/C outlet for 400W inverter.
5. 1000Wh Jackery. Charges off 400W inverter (built into van)
6. FRIDGE Bodega, $369 runs for days off the Jackery.
7. VENTILATION FAN: MaxxFan Deluxe (00-06200K model). Well-sealed and works like a charm for keeping the inside cool and fresh.
8. AWNING, 8x8 that attaches to roof. (see photo)
9. Kelly Blue Book Value (before Build upgrades) $21,670
10. CABINETS, 85" in length, 14.5" height 13.5" depth and offer plenty of storage
11. SHELVES under the bed for easy in/out laundry baskets/cloth cubes/or other baskets
12. Rigged for TOWING. 2" Hitch Receiver: 2" and wiring.
13. FLOOR: 1/2" XPS (bonded to the metal van floor) under 1/2" birch plywood (bonded to the XPS) with vinyl flooring on top. Insulated w/ Havelock wool in walls & ceiling
14. WALLS & CEILING
1x3" furring strips mounted by using existing mounting holes (thru-holes with nut & bolt OR M* tapped holes) or holes we drilled and painted and installed rivnuts into
- Walls: painted 3/16" plywood screwed into ribs
- Ceiling: Shiplap screwed into ribs
- Front cab can be separated from the rear living space with sliding curtains installed
15. LIGHTING: rechargeable and modular puck lights with a remote - no hardwire lighting! We found this to be much more practical and useful for inside / outside lighting. We also use battery powered LED string lighting
COSMETICS
- very light roof denting on the upper front edge of the high roof that was a result of a driver using the van when it was still owned by John Roberts Nissan hitting a structure on entering a parking deck. We repaired this dent ourselves and touched up a couple of very small areas that needed to be re-painted.
- front driver side bumper has a light bend in it due to Nissan driver hitting something presumably at low speed. Does not affect safety of function. Hardly noticeable.
- Sliding door (and rocker panel) professionally repaired after scraping up against rock.
