We are looking for a new loving owner to our incredible Mercedes Sprinter camper van! We purchased the vehicle new in late 2017, worked with an upfitter to design and build the interior, lived in the vehicle full-time for two years as we drove around 57,000 miles throughout the US, and have been using it for the last three years for weekend getaways.
The vehicle is fully ready for wherever you’d like to adventure, including seats and seat belts for four as well as off-grid features. The van is stealth enough to be used in the city (we slept many nights parked on city streets around the U.S.), or out in the boonies with nothing more than you and the stars! It includes a top of the line electrical system recharged via an alternator on the vehicle engine, a diesel stove and heater (no need for any extra fuel!), a large refrigerator with a side-by-side freezer, a composting toilet, and large fresh water and grey water tanks.
We opted to use every inch of the van as efficiently as we could, so it has upper cabinets throughout, kitchen drawers that use all of the space around the plumbing and appliances, drawers under the sleeping area, and an upright hanging closet. The build quality is excellent, especially the cabinetry that was installed with a custom system which we’ve found to be as rattle-free as we’ve ever experienced in a van—and we rented several before designing ours! Each drawer is secured with a marine-grade latch that locks and keeps all your things securely in their place while you’re driving.
As if efficiency and practicality wasn’t enough, the van is incredibly comfortable to spend time in. The campervan’s bed is great and plenty large for two folks, even those who are tall (Logan is 6’1”) because of the side flares. It has two fans which operate in either direction, making cooling off the inside a breeze by turning one fan on to pull air in and one to push air out. With a huge awning for chilling outside of the vehicle and all the storage you need for your outdoor hobbies in the back-door garage, including a slide-out drawer for storing multiple bicycles or other equipment, you’ll be ready to tackle any adventure.
Driving the van is super easy, with seating for four people (great for families!), cruise control, a console that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rear view camera, and it fits with a little hang over in a “normal” parking space (it’s 23’ long). We’re also including a lot of the accessories that we have found useful, such as the clean water fill and grey water dump hoses, a shore power cable, temperature monitors both inside and out, and snow chains that we purchased but never used.
