This 2022 T1N conversion pairs the reliability of Mercedes Benz' ever popular 2.7l Inline 5 Turbo engine (constantly referred to as the "million mile motor" for its longevity) with its coveted 158 long wheel base, allowing for maximum interior space while still creating a pleasant driving experience. Vehicle upgrades include aftermarket wheels, Durabac-18 polyurethane exterior paint.
-The BUILD-
Constructed with comfort in mind, this rig incorporates many features designed specifically for full time use in urban or rural environments. Its massive galley includes a full size farm house sink, induction stove, metal & tile backsplashes, beautiful butcher block counter tops & flip up counter extension. The galleys layout includes 4 well drawers, 1 wide utensil drawer & a double stacked vertical drawer sized for tall containers on top with a deep well for handled pans on the bottom. 2 burner induction stove. 65 Liter DC fridge with freezer zone. Large under sink storage area. Additionally the galley was designed around a kitchen window with pop up capability, allowing for pleasant views or exterior bar functionality.
The Dining area includes two fixed seats with a large book cubby (including charging port) located next to the drivers side fixed seat. A large butcher block dinning table is positioned as a slide out from the vehicle spine allowing for ease of use while seated. Also located on the spine are two large drawers for use as office storage. Both fixed seats feature flip up functionality, creating large sub storage locations in the vehicle (additional hidden sub storage is located in the driver side well).
The fixed bed utilizes Flarespace flares to create a spacious sleeping arrangement for two adults. Its 6" green tea memory foam mattress measures a comfortable 5' by 6'6" offering a familiar Queen Size bed to its occupants. Nestled inside the flares are warm white head & foot reading lights controlled via switch paired with a charging port at the headboard. 6 storage cabinets are located in the uppers to provide ample room for bedding, clothing & other knick knacks.
The Garage layout includes many features designed for prolonged use. Incorporating a tiered deck system the lower level of the garage holds 2 heavy duty 500lb slide out well drawers. Sized with intent, the passenger side drawer extends out with the drivers side rear barn closed. The interior decking creates 2 independent storage areas, effectively doubling the space in the garage area. Designed to be removeable, the two decks allow taller items to be transported if needed. The passenger side drawer & deck are sized for a full size mountain bike to be inserted into the drawer (front wheel off) & stored inside the garage during transit.
The bathroom located behind the driver seat encompasses a full tile shower, with a flexible neck & head for ease of use and includes a sealed cassette toilet & Nautilus retractable door.
Metal accents at the kitchen & system control panel provide a great contrast to the shiplap ceiling & the custom built shaker cabinetry. The main cabin includes center channel over head lighting as well as softer mood lighting tucked into the shelving & overheads.
Other amenities include deep storage space above the Cab, full length upper shelving & a removable third seat with interior storage for shoes, garbage or knick knacks. Dog tether tiedown bolt & leash storage compartment. 110v & USB ports at the passenger side slide & garage for exterior use.
