Had this van since March 2020 and been on long trips all over Colorado, the Ozarks from Denver, Salt lake city and the PNW.
The GOODs:
How's it mechanically?
- Very well maintained. PLEASE COME AND TEST DRIVE.
- No issues of any kind. NO leaks. Engine and transmission are solid. Regular service done in time. Many are done by myself and other times through a mechanic. These vehicles were designed to last. Don't see any engine oil or coolant leak. Checked master cylinder for brake fluid leak and No leak.
- Brand new brake rotors and brake pads, (see pictures). All steering control systems including ball joint, suspension, idler arms etc are all good, and no signs of any wear that needs replacement. You will have to drive it to find out how smooth it drives.
Mileage is high?
- Yes, but these vans are known to last easily above 350,000 miles with good care. The engine and transmission are solid in the van so it should last long if you take good care.
What's the gas Mileage?
- 14-18 MPG.
What components are changed?
- Brand new distributor plate.
- Brand new front brake rotor and pads
- Brand new rear brake pads
- Brand new inner tie rod
- Brand new outer tie rod
- Brand new tie rod connectors
- Whole heating system (except radiator) including engine fan was replaced 2 years ago.
- New battery a year ago.
- Have docs for mechanical work.
The BADs:
- Crack in the windshield but been driving it like that since I bought it. WILL REPLACE IT OR REDUCE THE PRICE for anyone paying the asking price.
- One half of the driver's display panel don't have light but it's just a fuse thing that can be replaced. never bothered me since you don't need that much anyway.
- Just serviced the rear brake calipers but I think they could be changed. NOT URGENT just more of my observation. They could stick more next winter. You can buy brand new rear brake calipers for less than $200 and replace it yourself.
Feel free to reach out with any questions. I would love to sell it to somebody who knows how to work on cars and will take care of it the same way. Asking $11000 or OBO. You don't find AWD fully decked camper vans easily and especially at this price. I never understod why people pay $15,000 - $ 20,000 for gutted Volkswagen vans. Just check all the camper vans listed in Marketplace and you will not find well done van like this at the price I have listed.
I need to show the buyer where everything is as far as design, electricals and modular components go. Because its important and I don't want to have you wonder how to undo things when you need to :)
Would love to chat more. Ask me for more details.
