Seller's Description
2001 Ford Campervan e450 For Sale
I am selling my 2001 Ford E450 box truck campervan with the 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel and 85,000 mostly highway miles on it.
Has new front brakes and wheel bearings. Recently rebuilt the turbo with all new gaskets, EPV valve delete, upgraded to the Wicked Wheel II and installed new up pipes while I was in there. Been running it on a SCT X4 tuner with decent results improving power and mpg, this comes with this Ford campervan E450. CB Radio also comes with it. There is a 5 inch LCD stereo display upfront with Apple Car Play/Android Auto capabilities as well as 2 back up cameras, one for the tow hitch and one for seeing the road or trailer behind you. Recently heavily reinforced the tow hitch and rear bumper, comes with trailer brake controller already installed.
If you know about the 7.3 you know it’s unheard of to find a 2001 Ford Campervan e450 with this few miles on it, these things will get 400k-500k if maintained well.
400 watts of solar on the roof. 12v, 200Ah LiFePO4 battery inside, this equates to 2400Wh of battery storage. 2000W power inverter with 4 AC outlets inside and one outside, as well as 2 usb ports for charging phones efficiently. Has 15amp shore power hookup. Heating pads on the battery and fresh water tank that I’ve never had to use but are nice just in case. One stand up fridgefreezer and another pull out freezer (I set it to freeze but it could also be set to be a second fridge). Propane hot water heater, forced air furnace and cooktop. 55 gallons of fresh water inside and 45 gallons of grey water underneath. Full size shower, and sink. L shaped lounge with dining table on lagun mount that folds away, lots of storage underneath the bench seating and bed. Full size, 8 inch memory foam mattress. There is trex decking on the roof rack running the length of the vehicle, and a pull-up bar welded to the back of it. There is a spare tire up there that also comes with it. Custom rear doors are 3.5 inches thick and lock from the inside and out. Lock box underneath with spare set of keys incase you ever lock yourself out. 2 big underbody tool boxes. Pass through to the cab also locks. Insulated with closed cell spray foam 3 inches all the way around, in some places four. The build is solid, nothing rattles or squeaks, I built this in 2021 and lived in it for 2 years on and off.
I built campervans professionally from 2018 -2023, my company was Renegade Vans, look em up. Of all the 25-30 something rigs I’ve built this 2001 Ford campervan E450 is the most comfortable and practical and spacious. It was my personal rig and compared to other vans I’ve lived in it’s been the best for me for living and working. I used to tow a trailer full of tools behind it part of the year and i basically had everything I needed to work, there’s a ton of storage that I never truly maxed out, and space to stretch out and not feel claustrophobic on top of that. I’m selling it because I want to live in an house again, and I want to use the money to start a new business. It’s a gem and I got really lucky that I found it when I did, with just 45k miles on it! Before that it was owned by a plumbing company, it’s been well taken care of. The only issues I had with it were exhaust leaks in and around the turbo, which I have taken care of. I’ve changed oil every 4-5k miles and used RevX in every oil change, and I pretty consistently ran Howes Diesel Treat as a fuel additive. I changed the fuel filter about 10k miles ago.
It’ll just need new tires and possibly shocks in about a year or two.
