    Seller's Description

    Willing to entertain trade-in offers.
This is a fully converted 98 GMC Safari SLT (RWD) with 235/75/R15 Hercules all-terrain tires. It currently has 192,000 KMs (120,000 miles) on the vortec 4.3 engine, these go up to 400,000 km easily if well maintained. Since purchasing it I have kept it exceptional mechanical order including having installed a new AC Compressor ($1700) about a month ago. I initially build this to keep this for long time but given we are moving I am listing this.
The van can be viewed in downtown Vancouver and will be available in Toronto after July 7th. We expect at the end of our trip the van will be below 205,000 km (128,125 miles).
The van was originally a camp shuttle van here in BC, the 2nd owner purchased it and semi converted it and used it as a weekend camper. I am the third owner and purchased it when it was semi converted and ripped out everything and redid the whole van. I spend more time designing this then the actual work that went in. Everything works great and we used it as a weekend camper.
    - Fully insulated cabin, board insulation on the ground, 3M Thinsulate (this is sound barrier and an insulator; this product cost about $800 to insulate the full van) on walls and ceiling.
    - Floor has ½ plywood and covered with vinyl sheet flooring ontop that is glued to the plywood.
    - All edges of the flooring have been sealed with gap filler and silicon sealant, so if liquids ever spill they are not going underneath the flooring. There is air pocket gaps in the rear where the doors open up to allow any moisture build up underneath the flooring to escape.
    - The wiring on the van has been done all behind the scenes routing through a fuse box, electrical diagram of how all major components are wired are included in the picture. The electrical system has been meticulously thought out:
o Everything in the van for the camper conversion is powered through a Bluetti Power station (AC200MAX; $2500 after tax), this has a 2000 watt AC inverter with peak draw of 4000 watts allowing you to use a kettle, hair dryer and an induction stove (included with the van).
o The DC draw is through a 12v30amp socket that is routed through a fusebox, the lights, kitchen sink water pump, fridge and the vent fan all have their own fuses (diagram in the picture).
o There is a USBC cable that is routed behind the wood paneling that goes from the power station to the front drivers side & bed, this cable allows up to 100 watts of charging, so laptops can quickly charge.
o The power station is charged through a few options:
 200 watt Renogy solar panels are mounted on the roof, the wires are routed inside through a waterproof cable box sealed on the roof.
 Charging through the alternator (380watts sustained draw when turned on). This part was fully professionally installed, the wiring from the battery is routed through a 120A marine waterproof circuit breaker that sits next to the starter battery (pictures included), this is routed underneath the driver’s seat where a 1200 watt inverter sits, the inverter has a switch sitting by the drivers console that can turn this system on and off with a button press.
 The van comes with 50 feet heavy duty waterproof extension cable which allows the van to charge via a regular 120V household socket, the van also comes with a 30AMP to 15AMP converter to allow you to charge the power station from a RV hookup system.
    - The van is covered in cedar wood panels that have been protected with polyurethane, they look and smell incredible, it is a log cabin on wheels.
    - The sink is fully functional and is fed in from a 10 litre water container (you can fit in a lot bigger water container under the sink, this was just what I went with) and drains into a gray water tank that sits by the sliding door step, the system is also designed to drain out in to the ground if you are parked and have the sliding door open. The entire underneath the sink area is covered with water proof tarp creating an area that can capture water if there were ever any leaks, the van comes with 2 x battery powered water sensors that can be placed on underneath the sink for peace of mind.
    - The bed is a pull out bed on felt strips, it can be converted into bed mode and couch mode within 5-10 seconds with one person. The bed is slight smaller then a double, is structurally very sound and able to sleep two adults without any issues. Underneath the bed is a full storage area which can be accessed from the sides and from the back of the van.
    - Everything in the van has been bolted into the ribs of the van via self-tapping metal screws. I have taken this through some incredibly rough forest service roads and nothing has every come lose or fallen off. There is no creeking or swaying noises when you drive the van from the woodwork.
    Mechanical & Body:
    - When I purchased the van there was no rust on the core frame, it still doesn’t have core body rust. There were two side panels (underneath the passenger sliding door and near the fuel pump where small rust pockets were visible, I have cleaned these out, have used gap filler and bondo along with new paint. The area could use more bondo + sandpaper to smooth out the look, I haven’t done as it would be just for visual looks only. I have also cleaned out any spots that have developed even a small amount of rust and have applied paint. This van should last a very long time if preventative maintenance like this is done every few years.
    - The following work has been done on the van in the last year (within the last 5000 km)
    o Replaced spark plugs
o Replaced distributor cap, distributor rotor, wiring set
    o Replaced fuel filter
o Brakes inspected and replaced as needed
o AC Compressor replaced, AC recharged

    Items included:
    - Induction stove
    - Camping propane stove
    - Cast iron pan, camping 3 piece cooking pan set & all utensils
    - DC fridge
    - 2 way radio handheld radio, emergency radio
    - Joolca hot shower system – includes connection for 1lb propane bottles.
    - Starlink satellite internet – dish/modem
    - Electric kettle
    - 30amp to 15mp RV electric plug
    - Teardrop awning
    - Water containers for clean and gray water
    - DC Electric heated blanket (not used, in packaging)
    - Steering wheel lock & apple airtag that is installed in the van
    - Window coverings for side and rear window.
