Seller's Description
1994 Toyota Hiace Campervan For Sale
This beauty has been cross country multiple times. Turn heads as you drive on the right hand side in an imported [and entirely street legal] camper van from Japan! I’ve been loving this rig for over a year but I’m only selling because I’ve just found one of my dream rigs. As I only am able to be in one of them at a time, I figured it is time to part ways with the Hiace.
1994 Toyota Hiace
2.8L Diesel
3L LH123
19-23mpg
Approx 50k (actual) miles- 95k kilometers
Has been great for full time off grid living and dispersed cross country camping, though I am less finicky that some, so it could be best as a weekender or part time camping rig and still retain great mileage for a daily driver. I’m about 5’5” apparently, so if you’re my height or shorter you will be able to stand up all the way inside.
Don’t let looks fool you, she’s got impressive specs and storage:
🔹full ceramic tint job including on the windshield with lifetime warranty
🔸Interior height of 5’5”
🔹Queen bed
🔸Hidden fridge under countertop
🔹Fresh and grey water tanks + running water
🔸100ah lifepo4 brand new battery with warranty
🔹1000w pure sine wave inverter
🔸Victron DC charger
🔹Two 3.5ft locking drawers on backside of bed
🔸Half the under bed space on the front side of the queen bed is completely available as well as storage behind the drivers seat and in both cabinets- I’ve done my best to utilize all the space for storage!
🔹outdoor shower room- can get into more detail in pm
🔹🔸for me, it holds plenty of clothes, paddle board, zipline/slack line, 40ft string of Edison bulbs solar lights, camp grill, outdoor kitchen, tea box, freediving gear, 50L bug out bag, dog box of toys/supplies + multiple hiking harnesses, outdoor shower setup, detachable shade awning, multiple large tool bags, etc. and so so much more. Idk how, but I have more things now than when I had a shuttle bus three times the size, and seemingly more storage.
Now for the mechanics- This rig has been nothing but amazing for me and has taken my pup and I cross country and back multiple times now. I expect nothing will be needed for quite a bit though other than regular maintenance, as there was a head gasket issue that was fixed, but because I have the “replace everything with new parts while it’s ripped apart gene” I have now also replaced/upgraded most parts, and with less than 1k miles on the rebuilt engine, she will be ready to take you wherever you wanna go. Will be inspected/tested by multiple licensed mechanics before sale as well.
