2002 Ford Econoline, V8 Engine - high-top · Located in Redding, CA
177,XXX miles. This van has been so well-loved. It comes from Minnesota, it's been to Florida, NOLA, through Texas, all over California and so much more. I lived on the ocean in this van. It saved me an incredible amount of money in rent. I made some of my best friends on the road and we cooked often in my kitchen. It was my hope for this van, to find a place I wanted to set down roots and it's more than I could have ever imagined. I lived nomadically for years and it's with this rig I found my home. The girl before me who lived in the van, lives in a little school bus now. This van has the magical ability to bring people to exactly where they need to be.

Mechanically, it needs rear brakes, right rear axel bearing and seal. It needs a full tune up. Spark plugs in the front, probably coil packs. The price reflects that it needs work. It has a bit rust. And it passed smog a few months ago no problem. If you have any questions, please let me know. A friend said he could do the work for me for about $1,500. A mechanic quoted me $3,000.

This is fully functional as a home. I charge my phone in here, make smoothies with a Vitamix, cook on the stove, toast bagels, use my little mini oven, etc. There's a Maxxair fan that ventilates well.

Noxton stove, new diesel heater that kept me warm through winter and is mounted underneath the van, large propane tank, large sink (this makes a huge difference), water heater, 300 watt full Renogy solar set-up, lithium battery (charges while I drive & can hook up to shore power).
